I’m not sure which of your services are right for me. What should I do?

I offer any potential client a free 15-minute consultation to discuss what services will work best, given their needs and timeline. I’m happy to talk over Zoom or the phone. If you’re interested in having a conversation, please fill out the form on the Contact Me page.  

How do I book an appointment with you? 

Please fill out the form on the Contact Me page. I try to respond to all queries within 24 hours and will send you a link to my booking page. 

When and how do I pay for your services?

For à la carte services, payment is due upon completion of the service. For packages, 50% of the fee is due prior to the first meeting, and the balance is due upon completion of services. My preferred method of payment is Zelle, but I also accept payment via Venmo and Paypal.  

What if I need to cancel or reschedule an appointment?  

I get it. Life happens. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please let me know as soon as you are able. That said, repeatedly missed appointments will result in termination of services. 

Can I hire you to write my application essay for me?

There are lots of services out there that will write application essays for you. I’m not one of them. It is important to me that my clients feel ownership over their application essays and that their words accurately and authentically represent their identities and abilities. That way, when they are accepted into the schools or programs of their dreams, they can feel confident that they were chosen for what they have to offer.

Do you offer consultations or editing for other types of writing? 

During the 14 years I spent in higher education, I worked with college students, graduate students, and faculty on many types of writing, including from academic essays, creative writing, dissertations, and journal articles. If I have the appropriate expertise, I am happy to work with you on other types of writing.
